Coronavirus: Haiti 259 new cases, 3 deaths, 2124 infected in total, lie or truth

More and more cases due to Covid-19 have been confirmed in the country in recent weeks. For May 31, the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) has recorded 259 new cases and 3 deaths.

The situation becomes tense. A total of 2,124 people are carriers of the virus. The disease spreads through local transmission at high speed. In fact, 2,072 cases identified are the cause of the local spread of the virus. The MSPP now has 2,056 active cases, 44 deaths and 24 recoveries.

Among the most affected departments, the West leads the list with 1,738 cumulative cases.

It is even more urgent to follow hygienic instructions in order to protect yourself and avoid transmission of the epidemic. Remember that wearing a mask is compulsory, as well as social distancing and regular hand washing.
