Coronavirus - the country has 3072 cases of contamination, lie or truth

The number of cases of Coronavirus officially registered in Haiti amounts to 3072 people tested positive. In fact, 148 new cases were announced by the MSPP on June 6, 2020. The death toll remains at 50, according to the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP).
The West Department remains the most affected with 2,436 cases. Delmas is the most affected municipality with 631. Port-au-Prince has 595 cases of contamination, Petion-Ville 437, Tabarre (271), Carrefour (189), Croix-des-Bouquets (162), Cité Soleil (44) are the municipalities with the most cases in this department.
The latest report from the Directorate of Epidemiology, Laboratories and Research (DELR) suggests that the country has registered 6,674 suspected cases and 3,072 confirmed cases, including 148 new cases. Among these 3072 cases there are 57 imported cases and 3015 local transmission cases. Among these 3072 cases, 40.5% are women and 59.5% are men.
In addition, in this press release, the MSPP reminds the population of the need to respect barrier gestures to protect themselves from the spread of covid-19.
