At least two beaches, Ocean View and Ouanga Bay on national road # 1, were set on fire in the morning of Wednesday, May 20, 2020, on the coast of the Arcadins. One of them is owned by the Apaid family, a zealous supporter of the ruling PHTK politic party.

The owner of Ocean View, who has taken refuge in a room to protect herself, is in trouble.

It appears that armed individuals are threatening to attack other beaches on National Highway # 1, but it remains to be confirmed.
